The 18-year-old had been greatly impressing in the Eredivisie, but since making his desire to leave public PSV manager Phillip Cocu has decided to freeze out the youngster.
Bakkali has been dropped to the Under-21s and it looks as if the teenager’s departure from Eindhoven is drawing ever closer, with the Premier League a highly likely destination.
However, it is not only clubs from England that are interested in the forward, with Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan also keeping tabs on developments.
Bakkali is a product of the youth system at PSV and since breaking into the first team last season has made 24 senior appearances and scored four goals and has also earned his first cap for Belgium.
