Plenty of English clubs will be excited to hear that Marco Reus has no Real Madrid first option in place.
Marco Reus is a major transfer target for several European clubs, and his €25m release clause makes him especially tempting.
There were rumours that the attacker had a “first option” deal in place with Real Madrid, but this has been denied by Dortmund’s chairman:
“It’s mindless to think that there is some kind of agreement with the club regarding a first buying option,” Hans Joachim Watzke told Marca.

Arsenal and Chelsea, who are both apparently pursuing the player, will be delighted by this news.
Unfortunately for Dortmund, who are bottom of the Bundesliga, Marco Reus will be out injured for some time.
