Man United’s MEGA target
Multiple high-profile Premier League clubs have been put on high-alert for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette after the French club signed a potential replacement for the 31-goal superstar.
According to the Express, Lyon’s imminent acquisition of striker Claudio Beauvue is being taken as a sign that the Ligue 1 club is willing to sell their league’s leading scorer – a sale which Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea and Liverpool are all reportedly interested in. For a while Lyon had been eager to keep clubs away from their scoring ace by putting a £36 million price tag on him, but the recent acquisition of Beauvue could point to wavering resolve to keep Lacazette. The Gunners were previously linked to a £21 million for the 24-year-old French star.
In his sixth year with Lyon, Lacazette scored 31 goals in 38 games for the club last season, earning Ligue 1 Team of the Year and Ligue 1 Player of the Year honors and finishing as the league’s top goal scorer. Last season Lacazette scored 22 goals in 54 appearances for Lyon.
