A host of Premier League clubs – including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United – could be on high alert this summer after Real Madrid announced that a whopping 40 youth team stars have been released.
The La Liga BBVA giants have ditched their C team, which means that a number of youngsters could be searching for a new team.
Real president Florentino Perez has announced the decision to disband their C team as a consequence of their relegation last season, Mundo Deportivo [via the Mirror] have reported.
It’s said that Perez made the tough call in a bid to focus efforts on Zinedine Zidane’s training for the Castilla team.
Castillas was too relegated last season, as Los Blancos’ academy continues in its failure to impress.
