Rabiot Arsenal – Gunners keen on French starlet
The Ligue 1 giants are ready to beat United to the £40m-rated Netherlands playmaker by offering Roma the chance to sign French youngster Adrien Rabiot as part of the deal.
The highly-rated 19-year-old has been linked with the Italian giants as well as with Chelsea and Arsenal in recent times, and this could help PSG win the race for the in-demand Strootman, who was tracked by United for much of the summer.
However, Louis van Gaal failed to bring the 24-year-old in, and was hoping to revive his interest in the Dutch international when the transfer window re-opens at the turn of the year.
