Finally, Arsenal could spend £10m on Napoli striker Eduardo Vargas, who has been recommended to the Gunners by their new signing Alexis Sanchez, who plays with the Serie A man for the Chilean national side. Despite an underwhelming goal record in Italy and in Spain in a loan spell with Valencia, Wenger wants to bring the 24-year-old in as a backup, and he looks like he could become a reliable member of the squad at the Emirates.
