Wenger secretly working on Cuadrado deal along with Balotelli transfer.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly not been a quiet man this summer in Brazil and the French manager is up to some serious transfer business and that he may have already closed in on two signings.
The Gunners’ pursuit of AC Milan’s Mario Balotelli is well known, but Wenger has also been linked with a move for Fiorentina star Juan Cuadrado, reports the Daily Star.
The Colombian international winger is also a target for Barcelona, and can also operate effectively as a right-back, which is a position Arsenal are in need of reinforcing.
Wenger is said to be ready to meet Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola to discuss personal terms, and has also been negotiating with Cuadrado with the help of his transfer team in Brazil.
Should rumours turn out to be true, Arsenal fans could be in for a pleasant surprise when their manager returns from Brazil.
Wenger is aware that the Gunners need to strengthen in a number of positions, and also hinted at a busy and yet exciting summer for the club at the end of last season, when he also claimed that several top players were willing to join the North Londoners.
