Arsenal are closing in on two more significant summer signings, with reports suggesting that the Gunners are ready to announce deals for Southampton right back Calum Chambers and OGC Nice goalkeeper David Ospina in the coming days, for a combined fee of around £19 million.
Reports have broken this evening that Nice manager Claude Puel is indicated that a deal for Ospina is completed, in the wake of Nice’s 3-2 friendly defeat against Championship side Brentford in West London.

The fee for the Colombian World Cup stopper is believed to be in the region of £3m, which would represent something of a bargain with Wenger capturing a fine stopper to compete with Wojciech Szczesny for his number one shirt.
A deal for teenage right back Chambers, meanwhile, also seems to be moving ever closer – with the BBC reporting that the player has passed a medical and that a fee of around £16m has been agreed between the two clubs.
Chambers has made just 26 senior appearances for Southampton as understudy to the impressive Nathaniel Clyne, but Wenger has seen enough from the versatile player, who can also play in midfield and at centre back, to make him the Gunners’ latest summer signing as the Frenchman continues to significantly strengthen his squad at the Emirates Stadium.
