The Brazilian star was thought to be a top target for Real Madrid, with the 21-year-old viewed as a long term replacement for Sami Khedira. The La Liga giants are reportedly now looking elsewhere however, leaving Silva free to explore other options.
Arsene Wenger is allegedly willing to meet the £12m asking price set by Cruzeiro, something Real Madrid were not prepared to do. And although Manchester United and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest, it seems like the defensive midfielder could be set for a switch to the Emirates in January.
