Arsene Wenger held a press conference on Tuesday afternoon and hinted that Arsenal are still in the market for new signings ahead of the new season.
The French manager also provided team news on Sunday’s FA Community Shield clash against Chelsea, as reported by the Daily Star.
He has revealed that the date has arrived too early for Alexis Sanchez – who has had an extended summer following Chile’s Copa America victory.
Danny Welbeck has also been ruled out of the game, as the striker is still recovering from a knee injury that saw him sidelined for the end of last season.
