Gunners keeping tabs on Clinton N’Jie.
Arsenal are tracking the progress of Olympique Lyonnairs striker Clinton N’Jie, report the Mirror, with manager Arsene Wenger considering activating the Cameroonian’s £800,000 release clause in January, despite not having scored a Ligue 1 goal yet since breaking into the Lyon team.

N’Jie is a 21 year-old forward who is seen as the natural successor to Samuel Eto’o in his native Cameroon, but this potential is yet to manifest in performances for the Lyon first team – but he has put in some solid performances for the club’s B team and, at just £800k, could well be seen as worth the gamble for Wenger, a manager with a propensity for picking up young forwards from Ligue 1.
