According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea have joined Arsenal in the pursuit of Ipswich’s Tyrone Mings.
The paper says that the Blues are “keeping tabs” on the defender, who has replaced West Ham-bound Aaron Creswell with aplomb with season.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Mings for some time, and will fear that Chelsea’s attention will raise the Englishman’s price, and perhaps even spark
Crystal Palace made a £3m bid for Mings on deadline day this summer, but Ipswich rejected the offer.

Chelsea are always keen to add English talent to their team. Gary Cahill and John Terry are the only English players in the Blues first team, and with Terry looking set to retire in two years at the most, there is an urgent need for homegrown players to fill the European and domestic quotas.
