Gunners remain in the hunt for duo despite Spurs negotiations, says Dinamo Zagreb chief.
Arsenal could beat bitter rivals Tottenham to the signings of Dinamo Zagreb wonderkids Alen Halilovic and Tin Jedvaj, according to a director of the Croatian club.
On Sunday, reports in Croatian newspaper Sporstke novosti claimed Spurs had agreed a deal to sign the 17-year-olds for a combined €20m (£17.2m).
And Dinamo’s executive director Zdravko Mamic has confirmed negotiations with Spurs are ongoing but said other clubs, including Arsenal, could still beat the Lilywhites to a deal.
Mamic was speaking to the assorted media, which included former editor-in-chief of FourFourTwo Croatia, Alex Holiga.
‘We are negotiating with Tottenham. We hope and believe the transfer of those two to Spurs will happen, but it’s not yet done.’

Tottenham, however, appear to remain in pole position to sign the duo, both of whom broke into the Dinamo first-team last season.
Attacking midfielder Halilovic has been compared to former Spurs star Luka Modric and the youngster has already earned a senior cap for Croatia.
Jedvaj, meanwhile, is a towering centre-back who has been linked with Inter Milan and Arsenal in the past.
