Arsenal youngster Chuba Akpom is reportedly undergoing a medical at Hull City this morning.
The 19-year-old striker is expected to join the relegated Tigers in the Championship on a season-long loan.
Arsene Wenger seemingly wants the teenager to gain first-team experience that would not be on offer at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners already have Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck in their striking ranks and are believed to be plotting a swoop for Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema.
Reports in Spain this morning claimed that Arsenal bosses have put £45.6m aside to sign the France international.

Akpom made seven substitute appearances for the Londoners last season, but is yet to start a senior competitive game for the club.
He went with the first team on their pre-season tour of Asia last month, scoring a hat-trick against a Singapore Select XI.
