Aurier has no intention of leaving Ligue 1 outfit, despite interest from Gunners.
Arsenal target Serge Aurier has dampened speculation he is set to join the Gunners, after telling reporters that he will only leave Toulouse if ‘something crazy happens’.
The powerful full back has three years left on his contract with the Ligue 1 club, and the 20-year confident that his future lies in Toulouse.
“I still have three years of contract in Toulouse – I feel great here and when I am somewhere, I like to stay,” Aurier told the Daily Star.
“I feel progress every day, with a coach [Alain Casanova] who loves me.
“For now, there is no question of me leaving, unless something crazy happens.”
Arsenal are in need of a new right back this summer, with France international Bacary Sagna out of contract at the end the next season and reportedly interesting PSG.
Aurier’s reluctance to leave Toulouse means Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will have to look elsewhere for a replacement for Sagna should he depart, or stick with youngster Carl Jenkinson.
