The one-time England international spent the 2014-15 campaign at Upton Park, making 32 Premier League appearances for the Hammers.
Jenkinson signed a new five-year contract with Arsenal earlier this month, and he appears to be a big part of Arsene Wenger’s long-term plans.
However, he will not play for the Gunners in the 2015-16 season, because he will remain with West Ham until May.
Jenkinson made 36 tackles in the Premier League last term and he was dribbled past just 16 times.
He started all three group games for England’s Under-21 side at Euro 2015.
