Gunners will no longer be moving for St. Etienne captain Loic Perrin.
Arsenal are set to call off their pursuit of St. Etienne central defender and captain Loic Perrin, report the Mail, with Gunners manager Arsene Wenger unwilling to meet the £8 million asking price for the long-serving Les Verts star.

Perrin has spent his entire career with St. Etienne and has become an iconic figure at the club, but Arsenal had believed that Perrin would be interested in a new challenge and could be lured to the Emirates Stadium.
The financial demands of Perrin’s club have appeared to put paid to any chance of the Frenchman moving to North London, however, with Villarreal duo Gabriel Paulista and Bruno Soriano now linked as alternatives.
