Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is ready to spend big to solve his injury crisis in midfield this January, with Paris Saint-Germain star Blaise Matuidi top of his list, according to CaughtOffside.

The 27-year-old has been linked with the Gunners in the past, whilst Chelsea and Manchester City have also shown an interest in the tough-tackling Ligue 1 ace.
With Mikel Arteta and Aaron Ramsey possibly out with long-term injuries, Wenger is in real need of reinforcements in that area, having also targeted some big names in that position in the summer.
PSG may be ready to sell Matuidi for around £26m as they look to offload players to meet Uefa’s Financial Fair Play rules.
