French youngsters could be heading to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal are chasing the signings of two fine young French players from runaway Ligue 1 leaders Olympique Marseille, report the Daily Star, with their fine start to the season under the enigmatic Marcelo Bielsa clearly not having gone unnoticed in North London.

The first player targeted by the Gunners is teenage central defender Stephane Sparagna, who has broken into the first team under Bielsa and impressed in his fleeting appearances, but is yet to to sign an extension to a deal which only expires in December, potentially allowing Arsenal to swoop in and sign him on a free transfer in January.
A more exciting prospect, however, is attacking midfielder Florian Thauvain, with the French Under 21 international perhaps being the most thrilling player currently at the Stade Velodrome after stepping into the shoes of long-serving international Mathieu Valbuena.
The French Under 21 star has been superb for the club since joining from Bastia and reportedly spurned the advances of Inter Milan this summer, but could be tempted by Wenger.
