Gunners want AS Monaco’s Fabinho.
Arsenal are eyeing Monaco right-back Fabinho as a possible replacement for Bacary Sagna, reports The Daily Mail.
The Brazilian is currently on loan from Portuguese outfit Rio Ave and has caught the eye with his impressive performances for the Ligue 1 outfit this season.
Gunners scout Gilles Grimandi has reportedly watched the 20-year-old in action and advised boss Arsene Wenger that Fabinho would make a quality replacement for Sagna, whose deal expires at the end of the current campaign.
Wenger has not given up on convincing Sagna to stay at the Emirates Stadium but it looks increasingly likely that the Frenchman will return to his homeland, with both PSG and Monaco interested.
