Arsenal are massive favourites to win the 2015 FA Cup.
The Gunners, who are the competition’s defending champions, having lifted the famous trophy a year ago today when they bet Hull City at Wembley, have been favourites to retain their crown for a long time now.
However, their odds of beating Aston Villa in this month’s final have been cut even shorter, after the Midlands side were thrashed 6-1 at Southampton on Saturday.

Villa had been on a run of fine form – they had won four of their last five games in all competitions prior to their trip to St Mary’s, where they were destroyed by Sadio Mane, who scored the fasted hat-trick in Premier League history.
After their humbling on the South Coast, Villa are now a massive 6/1 with some bookmakers to win in 90 minutes, while Tim Sherwood’s men can be backed at 29/10 with Boylesports to lift the trophy.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s best price to win in 90 minutes come courtesy of Paddy Power, who offer 4/7.
1/3 is as big as the odds get on Arsenal to retain the cup. They are as short as 2/9 elsewhere.
