Spurs and Lokomotiv Moscow also tracking Morocco international.
Arsenal will face a battle to land Getafe star Abdelaziz Barrada after Lokomotiv Moscow joined the chase for the Moroccan, reports talkSPORT.
The Gunners’ north London rivals Tottenham are also said to be interested in signing the attacking midfielder this summer.
Barrada has seen his reputation in La Liga grow this season with a series of fine displays and the versatile playmaker has scored four goals and added a further six assists for mid-table Getafe.
The Gunners will hold the upper hand in the pursuit for Barrada if they can secure Champions League qualification at Spurs’ expense, with the player having previously expressed a desire to play in UEFA’s premier club competition.
Lokomotiv are currently languishing in mid-table in the Russia league and are unlikely to qualify for Europe next season, while fourth-place Arsenal sit one point above Spurs with two Premier League games still to play.
The 9-cap Morocco international’s release clause is thought to be around the £17m mark.
