Arsenal Set To Beat Man United In £1m Deal For French Teenager
The Gunners may have to pay £25 million for the 21-year-old if they want to prise him away from the French giants. President Jean-Michel Aulas has already told supporters that he won’t sell the club’s young stars, but a massive offer may be accepted as they are currently building a new stadium.
The youngster has scored eight times and claimed six assists to help his team to the top of Ligue 1 this season, and has caught the eye of clubs around Europe as a result. Arsene Wenger may want the forward to improve a front line that currently contains an out of form Olivier Giroud and unfit Danny Welbeck.
The North London club recently lost to fierce rivals Tottenham and as a result have dropped back in the race for the top four. If they don’t qualify for next season’s Champions League then it could put all transfer plans on hold.
