Koscielny could leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Arsenal are facing a battle to hold on to Laurent Koscielny, with Barcelona and Bayern Munich interested in the centre-half.
Koscielny admitted earlier this month that he would consider leaving the Emirates Stadium this summer if the club fail to show ambition in the transfer market and boss Arsene Wenger could now see the £15m-rated star follow the likes of Robin van Persie, Cesc Fabregas and Alex Song in jumping ship.
Champions League winners Bayern and La Liga champions Barcelona are both reportedly in the market for a new central defender this summer and Koscielny’s agent, Stephane Courbois, admitted his client was a target for the duo.
“There is interest. I know that Laurent is part of a shortlist of three or four players for both clubs,” Courbois is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.
The 27-year-old defender has just enjoyed his finest season for the Gunners since arriving for £8.5m from Lorient.
The France international scored Arsenal’s final goal of the season in a crucial 1-0 win over Newcastle, but his words echo those made by Van Persie last summer before the Dutchman left for Manchester United.
