Gunners want forward Zakaria Bakkali but PSV are set to offer the 17-year-old a new deal.
Arsenal are facing a battle to land January target Zakaria Bakkali because the forward’s club PSV want to tie him down to a new long-term deal, reports talkSPORT.
Bakkali, 17, is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Europe and is the youngster player to score a hat trick in Eredivisie history after bagging a stunning treble in the 5-0 thresh of NEC Nijmegan earlier this season.
The Belgian’s contract currently expires in 2015 but PSV are set to offer him a new deal when he turns 18 in January, which could scupper the Gunners’ hopes of luring Bakkali to the Emirates Stadium.
