Radamel Falcao is set to sign for Manchester United on a season long loan.
Arsenal fans have had a fairly traumatic transfer deadline day so far, but may have found some joy – or at least schadenfreude – in Gunners fan Piers Morgan being trolled by Manchester Airport over the north London side’s decision not to move to sign striker Radamel Falcao.
The Colombian instead appears set to become a Manchester United player, with a medical underway at the Red Devils’ Carrington training complex at time of writing.
The Airport’s Twitter feed got into the spirit of transfer deadline day as Falcao’s arrival drew close.
No I can’t ask a “Mr Falcao” to come to the customer information desk… #cantcatchmeout #bbcdeadlineday #FlyManchester

Hmm so we found VanGaal and DiMaria so now lets play #WheresFalcao… tweet us pics of the places he isn’t and wherever is left he must be.. — Manchester Airport (@manairport) September 1, 2014
With Falcao’s arrival in Manchester getting ever closer, Manchester Airport’s Twitter feed thought it was a good opportunity to tease Morgan, a diehard Gunners fan, over Arsenal’s failure to rival United for the Colombian’s signature.
@piersmorgan Well we wanted to know if you wanted to play #WheresFalcao with us?

I’m now being trolled by a bloody airport. See what you’ve done, Wenger? — Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) September 1, 2014
