Petr Cech is showing Arsenal fans his true colours in tonight’s Premier League showdown with Liverpool.
The summer signing from Chelsea endured a horror home debut a fortnight ago as his two errors saw the Gunners fall to a 2-0 defeat to London rivals West Ham United.
But the goalkeeper is making amends this evening, producing outstanding saves to deny Christian Benteke and Philippe Coutinho to ensure that Arsenal entered the break level at 0-0 with the Reds, who had the hosts under the cosh in the opening 45 minutes at the Emirates Stadium.
Gooners were loving what they were seeing from the veteran stopper, who even earned the praise of the son of his former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho – a goalkeeper in the Fulham youth ranks.
