Arsenal are looking to ease their striking crisis following an injury to Olivier Giroud, report the Express, with manager Arsene Wenger seemingly keen to secure a loan deal to bring AS Monaco and Colombia striker Radamel Falcao to the Emirates Stadium.
The news that first choice lone striker Giroud will be ruled out for around three months with a broken foot has come as a blow to the Gunners, who used big money new boy Alexis Sanchez upfront during the midweek victory over Besiktas, although the Chilean appeared to struggle to make a significant impact in the new position.
With youngster Yaya Sanogo and Joel Campbell both lacking significant first team experience at the Emirates Stadium, it has been suggested that Wenger will be signing a new striker in the coming days, although the report suggests that Wenger believes that it is too late in the window to make a permanent signing.
