Crystal Palace are on the verge of sealing a deal for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, according to Danish journalist Michael Qureshi.

Translation: “Nicklas Bendtner has been to have a medical at Crystal Palace. Only a matter of hours before a deal is in place.”
The South East London club have already signed Marouane Chamakh from the north London club this summer, and will attempt to boost their own firepower with a second misfiring Gunners forward.
Bendtner last scored for Arsenal in March 2011, and has had recent loan spells to Sunderland and Juventus with mixed success.
Eccentric Eagles boss Ian Holloway will hope to get the most out of Bendtner, who appears to perform best when he has confidence placed in him.
Arsenal will likely offer Bendtner a hefty pay-off to depart Emirates Stadium, with Crystal Palace unlikely to be able to match his current salary.
