The Gunners could face stern competition from Liverpool for the signing of the explosive forward, however, who is the top scorer in French football so far this season and one of the country’s brightest prospects.
He is likely to command a significant fee, in the region of £15m, on account of having penned a new deal with Lyon last summer, but the player’s transformation from a winger into a thrilling centre forward have drawn comparisons with former Gunners Thierry Henry.
