Cavani was signed from Serie A outfit Napoli amidst much fanfare in Paris in 2013, with the Uruguayan international one of the first marquee signings that have now come to define a new era at the Parisien club.
Yet he and Ibrahimovic have never got on and the report suggests that manager Laurent Blanc is now ready to allow the 27-year-old to leave following another falling out with the Swede.
It is also suggested that both Arsene Wenger and Louis van Gaal are huge fans of Cavani and could look to bring him to the Premier League, although it is likely to require a huge financial investment if a club is to lure him away from the Parc des Princes.
