Gunners will face a Bayern Munich side without three key players in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 clash.
France international Franck Ribery has joined Bastian Schweinsteiger and Jerome Boateng on the sidelines for Bayern Munich’s Champions League clash with Arsenal on Wednesday, reports the BBC.
Ribery has been ruled out of the tie with an ankle injury after suffered a ligament strain in his during his side’s 3-2 win over Fortuna Dusseldorf on Saturday,
The former Marseille man joins suspended captain Schweinsteiger and former Man City star Boateng, who is also banned, in missing the match at the Allianz Arena.
According to the Guardian, the Bundesliga giants are also sweating on the fitness of former Chelsea winger Arjen Robben but expect Luiz Gustavo and Xherdan Shaqiri to be among the players to come in.
With Arsenal trailing 3-1 from the first-leg at the Emirates, the absence of the trio will give the Gunners a slim hope of overturning the deficit in Bavaria.
