Alexis Sanchez scored his 23rd and 24th goals for Arsenal as the Gunners cruised to a 3-1 win at Hull City on Monday night.
The Chile international broke the deadlock with a deflected free kick on 28 minutes.
Aaron Ramsey then made it 2-0, following an excellent long-rage pass from Santi Cazorla, five minutes later.
Alexis effectively secured the victory in first-half stoppage time, rounding goalkeeper Steve Harper to bag his 24th Gunners goal.
Hull improved after the interval and they got on the scoresheet thanks to Stephen Quinn, but Arsenal’s lead was never seriously threatened.
The Gunners, who are now unbeaten in 11 games in all competitions, remain third in the Premier League table, but they are only behind Manchester City on goal difference and they have a game in hand over the 2014 champions.
Meanwhile, Hull stay 17th – just one point clear of the relegation zone.
