Arsenal and Liverpool are both looking at signing Burnley striker Charlie Austin, according to the Daily Mail.
In fact, the Mail write that whilst the Gunners are currently leading the chase for Austin in January, they and Liverpool are joined in competition for his signature by Everton, Reading and Aston Villa. Oh, and Newcastle United.
If the Daily Mail say over a quarter of the Premier League are interested in signing Charlie Austin, he must be pretty good.
Austin has racked up an astonishing 20 goals already this season in just 17 games – making him the fastest player ever to reach the mark for Burnley.
The 6’2” striker has only failed to score in three league games for the Clarets this season, and has two nPower Championship hat-tricks to his name.
He may have more club goals than Lionel Messi this season, but the 23 year-old might still have to answer the age old question should he move to the Premier League.
Could he do it on a wet and windy night at the Britannia?
