Vietto, who only signed for Villarreal in the summer for £3.5m for Racing Club, has scored six goals in his last six appearances for the club and has quickly emerged as one of the brightest young stars in Spanish football.
Villarreal are understandably very keen to see Vietto stay at El Madrigal for as long as possible, meaning that it could take a significant bid for them to consider selling Vietto – it will certainly require a much higher offer than the £3.5m that they paid to Racing.
