Arsenal have been scouting the highly rated shot stopper for the last 18 months.
Arsenal are interested in signing highly rated Molde goalkeeper Orjand Nyland, reports the Daily Express.
The 23-year old was named the goalkeeper of the tournament in the European Under-21 Championship last summer, and was a target for Cardiff City last season.
The Gunners need to find a couple of goalkeepers to replace the likes of Lukasz Fabianski and Emiliano Viviano this summer, and Nyland is being considered a good spot for the North Londoners.
Arsenal’s No.1 Wojciech Szczesny has clearly been made the long term first choice at the Emirates, and manager Arsene Wenger would ideally want another goalkeeper who can challenge him for a regular place in the side. Nyland ticks all the boxes and one could see the Gunners making an offer for him soon.
Apart from being a former distinguished youth team player for Norway, Nyland now also has 4 national team caps for his country.
