The Colombian has been performing brilliantly in Serie A so far this season, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
Cuadrado has also netted twice for the Italians in the Europa League and has attracted the interest of the Gunners despite having only signed for Fiorentina in the summer.
The 25-year-old joined from Udinese and is a tricky winger who likes to dribble with the ball, but also has a better final delivery than the likes of Theo Walcott and former player Gervinho.
Reports say that the offer from the north London outfit has been rejected, but that is unlikely to perturb the side as they are currently a very attractive prospect.
Cuadrado would provide some more attacking availability from the wing at the Emirates Stadium and also has experience on the international stage, with 20 caps for Colombia to date.
The South American is likely to be in the nation’s squad in Brazil next summer, with the country having qualified for the 2014 World Cup.
Despite having cost Fiorentina £4m in the summer, the club are likely to now demand nearer to £20m if Arsene Wenger is to secure the attacker.
