Arsenal handed hugely difficult UEFA Champions League draw, as Borussia Dortmund, Olympique Marseille and Napoli all face the Gunners in Group F.
Arsenal face a tough task to qualify for the knockout stages of the 2013-14 UEFA Champions League, with Borussia Dortmund, Olympique Marseille and Napoli drawn in their group.
Whilst Group H is arguably the true group of death, each one of the Gunners’ opponents represents a very awkward team to beat indeed.
The club’s fans will hope that there will be some signings in the next week as their squad is woefully short for the coming season.
However, Arsene Wenger has proven himself an incredibly adept manager at reaching the knockout stages of the competition, and Arsenal will still hope to maintain their impressive record at the highest level of club football.
The more pessimistic fans amongst the Gunners fanbase would do well to remember that this team – without the likely signings – defeated Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena last season, and on their day can beat anyone.
