Mahrez has made a sensational start to the Premier League campaign this year, playing a crucial part in the early success that Claudio Ranieri has enjoyed at the club.
The Foxes have previously made it clear that they have no intention of selling the winger, with the Algerian international having an increasingly impressive influence on his side’s results.
Regardless of their stance, the Gunners have placed him on their shortlist and it remains to be seen whether or not Wenger makes his move before Tuesday.
Mahrez has previously been linked with a move to both Villarreal and Roma, and it is claimed that he was valued at around £5m at that time.
However, given the nature of his performances to start the season, if Leicester were to consider a sale, they would undoubtedly be looking for a much bigger offer to tempt them.
