Despite Giroud holding a love/hate relationship with Arsenal fans, it has been clear at times that the Gunners have missed the powerful target man. He offers something different up front that the London club don’t have in any of their other forwards, and his work rate is second perhaps only to new boy Alexis Sanchez.
Theo Walcott is also due to make his first start for the club in the coming weeks following a lengthy injury, so Arsene Wenger should soon have plenty of attacking options available.
