The two in question are Aaron Ramsey, who has been out of action for a month, and defensive midfielder Mathieu Flamini, who has been missing for a couple of weeks, although there is worse news about Gunners captain Mikel Arteta.
Arteta has been missing for much of the season so far with a troublesome calf injury and looks set to be on the sidelines for some time yet – although Francis Coquelin has done a solid job in the Spaniard’s absence.
