Wilson starred in Bournemouth’s Championship season by scoring a whopping 23 goals this season, and Bournemouth will join the Premier League in the 2015-16 season.
However, Wilson will not likely resume playing with Bournemouth. The 23-year-old is currently being sought after by Arsenal, who has just been reported by ESPN FC as entering the sweepstakes for this young and rising star.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has stated that he wants to bring in competition for Olivier Giroud, who has scored 14 goals this season.
Wilson’s other suitors include Tottenham, Swansea City, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Southampton and West Ham.
If Wilson wants to join a contender, he would join Arsenal in a heartbeat as they are expected to continue contending for a Premier League title.
They are currently in third place and finished in the top four every year since 2004, although that was the last time they won it all.
