According to Metro, Rabiot’s agent, Veronique, has revealed that he is keen on moving to the Premier League.
“Adrien loves and is attached to PSG, it is the club of his heart. He wants to have a career here. But it’s not possible,” Veronique said to Metro on Rabiot’s future.
Rabiot has played for Paris Saint-Germain for the past three seasons, and he was part of a Ligue 1 championship club in the 2014-15 season.
Arsenal is currently being considered the frontrunners to land Rabiot, but the French star is also reportedly being pursued by Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham.
Rabiot scored four goals for Paris Saint-Germain in the 2014-15 season, and he will be a welcome addition to an Arsenal club that is looking to get stronger in the midfield.
He is looking to receive more playing time by transferring to the Premier League.
“If Adrien leaves PSG, he is not leaving for the sake of leaving, he is leaving in order to play,” Veronique said.
The Gunners are hoping to acquire all the firepower they can get after a third-place finish.
Arsenal was able to strike gold on Alexis Sanchez last offseason, as he led the team in scoring with 16 goals.
