The Gunners are keeping tabs on Bahebeck.
Paris Saint-Germain striker Jean-Christophe Bahebeck is a transfer target for Arsenal this summer, who could land the youngster as a free agent, according to the Daily Mail.
The 21-year-old operates generally as a No.9, but can also play on the wings, and PSG would be prepared to allow Bahebeck to leave on a free transfer as long as they are given 50% from his next move.
The France Under-21 international played at the recent Under-20 tournament in Toulon, top-scoring with four goals including two against Brazil in the final.
In 2013/14 Bahebeck was loaned to PSG’s fellow Ligue 1 side Valenciennes where the forward scored two goals in 21 appearances.
The Frenchman’s representative Willie McKay has admitted that discussions between his client and English clubs has already begun.
“When you consider the prices being asked for English players of similar level it’s a very good deal. We have a lot of interest from English clubs,” McKay said.
The Gunners have made attack a priority for recruitment this summer, with manager Arsene Wenger admitting they relied too much on Olivier Giroud last term.
However, the arrival of Bahebeck is unlikely to have an immediate impact in that department and the starlet is thought of as a star for the future.
