Gunners looking at highly-rated La Liga starlet.
Arsenal are said to be scouting Valencia youngster Paco Alcacer ahead of a possible move in the January transfer window, according to CaughtOffside.
The young Spanish striker has been in fine form recently, enjoying something of a breakthrough year last season with 14 goals and 3 assists for Valencia in all competitions to attract interest from a number of top clubs.
Arsenal are now taking a close look at his performances this season after he looks to have started in fine form once again, with Arsene Wenger still keen to continue bringing in players upfront this January.
Valencia are keen to offer Alcacer a new contract with his current deal set to expire in 2016, and it may be that an offer of £10m will be enough to land him in the near future if he cannot agree terms with the Mestalla outfit.
Arsenal face possible problems upfront this season with Olivier Giroud out injured, with new signing Danny Welbeck likely to need some time to settle in at the Emirates Stadium.
