Emenike has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League in the last 18 months, with Chelsea believed to be close to bagging him during the summer.
However, reports in Turkey are now claiming that Arsenal are the favourites to land the Nigerian international and will make their move for him when the transfer window re-opens in the new year.
Wenger is believed to have ordered his scouting team to keep a close watch on the striker and will happily spend £15million on his services should he impress sufficiently.
The 27-year-old scored 12 goals in 28 matches last season and picked up nine assists.
