Arsenal are reportedly attempting to reach a deal for Napoli winger Jose Callejon, and are hoping to hold off Chelsea in their pursuit.
According to The Metro, Callejon is looking to leave Napoli as both Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked to him.
The Serie A club have been offered £22m by the Gunners for the Spanish international.
Chelsea have already offered £15.5m for the winger, but they may choose to raise their offer if they are serious about landing him.
The 28-year-old would be an ideal addition for Arsenal, as they are looking to add a scoring threat who can take the pressure off Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott.
Walcott just signed a new four-year contract with the Gunners, indicating that the team has big plans for him to become a featured part of their attack.
