Pires believes that the Gunners can haul Chelsea in.
Former Arsenal star Robert Pires, who lifted multiple Premier League titles during his time with the Gunners, has indicated that he believes his club can still win the league this season, despite a home draw against mid-table Hull City this weekend meaning that Arsene Wenger’s side have fallen 11 points off the pace set by runaway early leaders Chelsea.

Pires, who is currently playing in the inaugural Indian Super League season after coming out of retirement, believes that his former side can still turn it around in the Premier League:
“But in football, everything is possible. They have with Chelsea, but we can still win the league.”
The Frenchman also defended his former manager Wenger in the face of serious criticism following the home draw against Steve Bruce’s Tigers:
“But do not forget that Wenger built the Arsenal team.”
“Of course, it is important to win the title. But I always believe in Wenger and in the team.”
