The Frenchman was speaking to Sky Sports News HQ, and revealed his belief that based on recent results, his former club can lift the title this year.
Following wins over Manchester United, Watford and Everton, Arsenal are currently level with Manchester City at the top of the table.
Coupled with their victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League last week, confidence is undoubtedly sky-high within the group currently, and Henry hopes that they continue to build on their momentum.
However, as discussed with Sky Sports further into the interview, he warned of the importance that Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla hold for the team.
The pair have been pivotal to their success in their deeper midfield roles, with the Frenchman breaking up play and generally being a combative presence, while Cazorla builds play from the back and releases the ball to his attacking teammates.
With the likes of Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini seeing their influence on the side waning, it remains to be seen whether or not manager Arsene Wenger has adequate cover in case of an injury moving forward, and Henry remains slightly worried about his former club if that scenario presents itself.
Nevertheless, for the time being Arsenal will focus their attention on Tuesday night’s Capital One Cup clash with Sheffield Wednesday as they look to compete on numerous fronts this season.
