In his recent autobiography ‘The Second Half’ Keane admitted that at the height of his rivalry with Vieira that if it had become a scrap the Frenchman would have won.
The Manchester City reserve team boss has revealed that he has not read the book yet, but that he agrees with the Irishman concerning a fight between the pair.
“No I haven’t read it, but I have heard a lot about it,” Vieira was quoted by the Mirror.
“If there was a fight, it would take a long time to beat him and I would end up with a few cuts.
“I don’t think he would give up easily!”
Keane and Vieira were famously at each others’ throats during the height of the Gunners and the Red Devils’ rivalry in the early to mid 2000s, but since both retiring from the game they have become unlikely friends.
